DAILY REPORT: HOW WINERIES HAVE CHANGED IN THE LAST YEARS

A YOUNG TRADITIONAL WINERY
By Mercedes López Carril

Although the Bodega Tradición is relatively new, it doesn’t mean that it cannot produce some fine Aged Sherries.
The bodega was established 13 years ago, in 1998, but its methods for ageing and maturing the wines date back at least to 1653 and most of the activities are still made by hand.
The current owners come from one of the oldest family-owned winery of Jerez and they believe that the right way to get the best quality for their products is to follow the tradition and use the ancient methods for ageing and maturing the wines.
This small winery has a very limited production and is devoted exclusively to age wines that are bought from other prestigious wineries.
Wines from this bodega have worldwide recognition and it is highly recommended to visit it and taste its excellent products.
