THE TRADITION OF WINES FROM JEREZ AND ITS GASTRONOMY

We don’t say anything new if we talk about wineries in Jerez. In this city the tradition in wine is very long. But we also have the opportunity of seeing all this tradition in its gastronomy.

Although Sherry and Manzanilla are well known as aperitif drinks, the combination of others wines with good food make our plates delicious. Who has not tasted a sirloin or whatever red meat made with “Oloroso”, or an ice-cream in the “Pedro Ximenez”, or “Moscatel” served with any type of pastry or blue cheese?

Most of these wines are also used in cooking for macerating, in order to give our dishes new notes and that special and personal touch that makes us remember the past and at the same time dream about the future and new ways of savouring the tradition of our wines.
